I am a retired bilingual/ESL teacher and writer. I write humorous, lyrical, and SEL-based picture books and poetry that inspire children of all ages. One of my children’s poems is on The Dirigible Balloon; and I have several poems published in Bard’s Poetry Anthologies. I am a member of SCBWI, Long Island Children’s Writers and Illustrators, Rate Your Story, and 12×12 and am currently querying literary agents and publishers. I was thrilled to be on the 2024 50 Precious Words winner’s list for Mariposas.

I also have a children’s poetry blog that I began several years ago when I participated in NaPoWriMo, writing a poem a day for April. Most of my poems aren’t on the blog, since I’m hoping to publish them one day. I’m enjoying my writing journey and hope that I’ll soon be able to share my published books with you.
